Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) - Tasmania (Kingston) $80 -$90K
Great with people. Even better with movement. Ready for Tasmania?
Proactive Health is growing across Tasmania, and we're on the hunt for an Accredited Exercise Physiologist who knows the work is about more than reps and sets. It's about helping real people move better, hurt less and get back to the things they love.
A bit about us
Proactive Health is one of Australia's largest allied health networks — 350+ clinics and still growing. Kingston is one of our Tasmanian clinics: Ben and Cathy Creese run a great team with culture at it's core. It's MDT environment is focused on delivering the best care across a varied stream of funding models. You get the backing of a national network with the feel of a local team.
- Assess, plan and deliver individualised exercise physiology programs
- Work across [caseload mix — e.g. NDIS, DVA, aged care, chronic disease management, workers comp, private — confirm]
- Partner with GPs, physios and the wider team so clients get the best possible outcome
- Keep clear, compliant clinical notes and track real outcome measures
What you'll bring
- Full accreditation as an AEP with ESSA (Exercise & Sports Science Australia)
- Looking for 2 years of experience, perhaps some of that was more gym based.
- A current Working with Vulnerable People registration (TAS) and National Police Check

- Genuine warmth, and a knack for making clients feel capable
- We will offer a salary of $80K- $90K plus super (dependant on experience)
- A real career pathway and regular 1:1 support — not just a job title
- Mentoring and a genuine professional development allowance [confirm amount]
- Flexibility around working times, whether that be 4 days a week or FT
- The resources, tools and clinician community of a national network behind you
- A seat in Proactive Voices, our clinician advocacy community, and a network giving back through our Charity of the Year, Bowel Cancer Australia
Why Tasmania
In Tasmania the wilderness starts where the car park ends. Beaches, mountains and national parks sit a short drive from wherever you'll live, so a full week with clients still leaves room for a proper weekend.
