Relationship Support Manager
We’re DF Capital – a specialist bank providing award-winning commercial finance, retail finance, and savings products to consumers and small businesses.
Based in Manchester, we serve thousands of customers across the UK and into Europe, supporting their ambitions with tailored financial solutions.
We help our customers realise their ambitions by doing things differently – combining the agility and innovation of a specialist lender with the security and service standards of a regulated bank. Whether it’s flexible lending structures or straightforward savings options, we focus on what matters most to our customers.
In 2025, we launched DF Capital Retail Finance – a subsidiary of DF Capital Bank Limited – to offer specialist hire purchase solutions to retail customers.
Our goal is simple: to do the absolute best for our customers, our communities, and each other.
Your new role:
As a member of the Structured Finance team, you will play a key role in servicing a portfolio of clients by offering class-leading customer service which support our customers and enable them to meet and exceed their business ambitions. Reporting to a Relationship Manager you will be responsible for servicing and managing relationships with Structured Finance customers including products such as Stock Flow Finance, Invoice Finance, Wholesale Finance and Short-Term Secured Business Loans.
DFC’s Structured Finance solutions are designed not only to meet customers’ working capital needs but are also perfect for financing customer opportunities such as mergers and acquisitions, business restructures and asset purchases.
You will be a proven builder and developer of relationships with both customers and internal stakeholders. You will be a self-starter, have enthusiasm and a can-do attitude to build trust with, and provide the right outcomes for, customers. You’ll build depth of knowledge in our lending products, help prospects, existing customers and external stakeholders understand the benefits that working with DF Capital brings.
You’ll have an eye for opportunity and be eager to bring them to life alongside colleagues across the bank. You understand the value of teamwork and that collaboration can shape the bank’s success. You will be comfortable sharing your knowledge with colleagues to put our customers’ needs first. You’ll be an exponent of strong customer service and will look for ways to keep DF Capital ahead of its competitors.
You will be comfortable working with customers’ financial statements and forecasts to ensure that you can identify deteriorating trends or concerns and can concisely escalate your findings where appropriate, although further training on will be provided. You’ll be equally comfortable working at pace, being a team player but also able to work autonomously. You will have strong communication, organisation and facilitation skills, whilst being comfortable working with a variety of stakeholders at varying levels of an organisation. You will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the key components of commercial lending and what it takes to deliver great customer service and strong customer advocacy. Having a strong attention to detail, with proven ability to prioritise and excellent organisational skills are prerequisites.
