About the role

The People Experience Specialist role is responsible for creating a consistent and positive employee experience by coordinating People & Culture programmes that support employees and managers throughout the employment lifecycle.

The role is the primary operational point of contact delivering hands-on people and culture support that drives engagement and ensures seamless execution of all people-related actions. The role provides day-to-day advisory and support to staff and serves as the first point of contact for all managers and employees on routine people and culture matters.  The role ensures that people-related decisions are translated into timely, practical action, while maintaining a high level of responsiveness and service delivery. It contributes to a positive workplace culture by building trusted relationships, providing practical people and culture guidance and supporting managers in creating engaging employee experience. In this role you will :

·       Own the end-to-end recruitment process includes partnering with hiring managers to clarify hiring needs, intake meetings, job posting, candidate sourcing, candidate screening, reference checks, coordinating interview processes and offer management and ensuring a positive candidate experience and a high-quality and efficient hiring process.

·       Lead the employee onboarding and orientation to ensure successful integration of new hires into NI

·       Partner with managers to prepare for new hires, support effective onboarding and assimilation by conducting structured probationary check-ins with managers and employees to assess progress, address performance, conduct or integration concerns, identify risks and provide guidance throughout the probation period.

·       Coordinate all employee lifecycle transactions including promotions, transfers, coordination of leaves of absence, employment changes, by ensuring timely completion, accurate documentation, and a positive employee experience at every touchpoint.

·       Monitor and respond to employee feedback, lifecycle insights signals (engagement and pulse survey feedback, and informal observations) and surfacing trends; and recommend targeted interventions and improvement to people and culture practices.

·       Collaborate with People Operations Generalist to ensure alignment with policies and systems, ensuring employee lifecycle activities are delivered consistently and in accordance with organizational policies.

·       Serve as the primary P&C point of contact for managers and employees, providing responsive, trusted practical guidance on HR matters including performance management, attendance issues, workplace conflicts, employee conduct, accommodations, workplace concerns and day to day HR matters.

·       Aligned with policy and employment law, manage low-to-medium risk employee relations cases end-to-end by conducting intake, fact-finding, documentation of cases, recommending appropriate actions and resolutions while ensuring fair, consistent outcomes, timely follow-through and closure of all cases.

·       Contribute to the development and refinement of employee-facing programs such as recognition, wellness, workplace culture initiatives, employee engagement surveys and employer brand efforts

·       In partnership with the People Operations Generalist coordinates the annual performance management cycle, employee engagement initiatives and action planning, employee wellbeing activities and organizational culture initiatives, staff awards and all cyclical People and Culture initiatives.

·       Develop and coordinate timely, consistent and employee focused communication for enterprise People and culture programmes, initiatives and cyclical activities.

About you

You will have Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field. CHRP/CHRL designation is desirable

Around 5 to 8 years of progressive HR generalist experience, with a strong emphasis on employee relations, manager coaching, hands-on recruitment experience across the full hiring lifecycle, from intake to offer and excellent HR service delivery.

Solid working knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, and strong execution and follow through along with experience in a multi-regional HR environment.

Ability to work effectively in a team and build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders. Strong stakeholder management, interpersonal and communication skills — able to build trust, influence without authority, and navigate sensitive conversations with empathy and directness.

Ability to exercise sound judgment to balance organizational standards with individual circumstances and escalating complex or high-risk matters appropriately.

Fluency ( both reading and writing) in English is essential for this role.
