Perspex Fabricator – Acrylic Assembly
Key Responsibilities
Cut, bend, polish, glue, and assemble Perspex (acrylic) components.
Read and interpret technical drawings and job specifications.
Assemble acrylic products to precise quality standards.
Operate fabrication equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently.
Perform quality inspections to ensure accurate measurements and premium finishes.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment.
Work closely with the production team to meet daily targets and deadlines. Typical acrylic fabrication includes cutting, edge finishing, heat bending, solvent bonding, polishing, and final assembly.
Minimum Requirements
Previous experience in Perspex/acrylic fabrication or plastic manufacturing.
Experience with acrylic assembly, bonding, polishing, and finishing.
Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring equipment.
Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Physically fit and able to work in a production environment.
Reliable, punctual, and safety conscious.
Advantageous
Experience with laser cutting, CNC routing, or heat bending equipment.
Experience in signage, retail displays, shopfitting, or custom acrylic manufacturing.
