Responsibilities

  • Conduct rigging operations in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Inspect and maintain rigging equipment to ensure reliability and safety.
  • Plan and execute lifts by analyzing load requirements and physical constraints.
  • Collaborate with crew members and other personnel to ensure effective communication during operations.
  • Implement safety measures to mitigate risks during rigging and lifting activities.
  • Assist in the preparation and setup of projects, including rigging layouts and load calculations.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior riggers and new personnel on best practices and safety protocols.
  • Proven experience as a rigger in the oil and energy sector or a related industry.
  • Rigging Intermediate or above on High Risk Work Licence.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities.
  • Physical fitness and the capability to work in challenging environmental conditions.
  • Flexibility to work on various schedules, including days, nights, weekends, and outages.
