Structured 12–24 Month Coach Development Pathway | Weekly Mentorship | Clear Career Progression

We help people become stronger, healthier and more confident through elite coaching, exceptional member experiences and a thriving community.

For more than a decade, we have built a reputation for delivering outstanding coaching and helping our members achieve long-term results. Today, hundreds of members trust Madisons as part of their weekly routine and we're continuing to grow.

We're now looking for the next intake of driven trainers to join our team.

Who We Are

Madisons is one of the UK's leading coach-led fitness businesses, built on a simple belief: exceptional coaching changes lives.

We are not a gym that simply provides access to equipment. We are a coaching business. Every session is led by a coach, every member follows a structured journey and every member experience matters.

We are relentless about standards. Our coaches receive ongoing mentorship, weekly education, regular coaching observations and continuous development designed to help them become exceptional at what they do.

As we prepare to open our next location and enter the next phase of growth, we are looking for ambitious individuals who want to join a team that takes coaching seriously and build a long-term career within an expanding business.

Our Philosophy

We're not looking for finished coaches. We're looking for people with the right attitude. Knowledge can be taught. Experience can be gained. Qualifications can be earned. Character is much harder to develop.

The people who succeed at Madisons are coachable, hard-working, positive, humble and committed to continuous improvement. They take ownership of their development, embrace feedback and genuinely care about the people around them.

If that sounds like you, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

As a personal trainer, you'll join our structured Coach Development Pathway, designed to take ambitious individuals and develop them into exceptional coaches.

You'll work alongside our Head Coach and senior coaching team, gaining hands-on experience while receiving ongoing mentorship, education and support.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering small-group personal training and group training sessions
  • Learning and applying the Madisons coaching systems
  • Participating in weekly education and development sessions
  • Maintaining exceptional standards of member experience
  • Contributing to a clean, organised and professional facility
  • Supporting community events, challenges and member engagement initiatives

Essential

  • A Level 3 Personal Training qualification (or equivalent)
  • A valid right to work for the UK (we don't offer visa sponsorship)
  • Positive attitude and growth mindset
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Desirable

  • Previous coaching, personal training or customer service experience
  • First Aid qualification

Our Coach Development Pathway

One of the most important parts of this role is your development.

Every Madisons Personal Trainer joins a pathway designed to accelerate learning and provide clear progression opportunities.

This includes:

  • Mentorship from our Head Coach
  • Coaching and communication development
  • Lifestyle and nutrition coaching education
  • Internal CPD workshops
  • Video-based learning resources

Our goal is simple: to help you become the best coach you can be.

What You'll Receive

  • Guaranteed salary
  • Annual Leave: 28 days, exclusive of public holidays,
  • Pension scheme with employer contributions
  • No sales responsibilities: just deliver exceptional training sessions
  • Complimentary Madisons membership for you and a family member
  • 40% discount at MINCKA Coffee
  • Team socials, events, and training days
  • On-site parking

Education & Career Development

  • Structured 12-24 month Coach Development Pathway
  • Weekly mentorship and coaching support
  • Clear progression opportunities within the coaching team

Why Join Madisons?

You'll join a team that values coaching excellence, continuous learning and high standards.

You'll receive more support, mentorship and development than most coaches experience in years elsewhere.

You'll be surrounded by people who care deeply about helping members succeed and who are committed to becoming better every day.

Most importantly, you'll have the opportunity to build a genuine career within a growing coaching business that is preparing for its next phase of expansion.

If you're ambitious, coachable and serious about becoming an exceptional coach, we'd love to hear from you.
