As a Product Owner Data & AI (m/f/d), you combine product ownership with expertise in Machine Learning, Data Science and Generative AI. Together with our business teams, you identify and prioritize high-value use cases and develop innovative solutions with measurable business impact. You will oversee the entire lifecycle of modern data and AI products and act as a key link between business, analytics and technology.

Your tasks

• Own the roadmap for our Data, Analytics and AI products and prioritize initiatives based on business value and strategic relevance
• Identify data-driven opportunities together with business stakeholders and translate business requirements into AI and Machine Learning solutions
• Analyze complex datasets, develop predictive models and derive actionable recommendations
• Design, build and evaluate Machine Learning models and modern AI solutions using LLMs, RAG and agent-based workflows
• Manage the full product lifecycle, from problem definition and development to validation and production deployment
• Ensure the operation, monitoring and continuous improvement of AI systems in modern cloud environments
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Analytics and other stakeholders while communicating progress, risks and results transparently

Your profile

• Several years of professional experience in Machine Learning, Data Science, AI Engineering or Advanced Analytics
• Experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager or in a similar role with responsibility for products, projects or complex initiatives
• Strong knowledge of Python, SQL and modern Data Science and Machine Learning frameworks
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Prompt Engineering and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
• Experience working with cloud platforms, ideally AWS, and operating AI and ML solutions in production environments
• Knowledge of MLOps, CI/CD, monitoring and the continuous improvement of production systems
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to connect technical and business requirements
• Excellent written and spoken German and English language skills
