Our team is continuing to grow, and we are seeking a Senior Project Coordinator to join our team in Canberra.

As a Senior Project Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of ICT projects and testing activities within the Australian Electoral Commission’s Indigo Program. Working closely with business and technical stakeholders, you’ll help coordinate projects, support UAT and broader testing activities, and ensure effective governance, communication and delivery across a fast-paced environment. This role will be a 9-month contract based in Canberra.

What You’ll Do

  • Support the planning, coordination and delivery of ICT projects, including schedules, milestones, actions and deliverables.
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities across business and technical teams.
  • Maintain project governance artefacts, reports, registers and project documentation.
  • Track and manage risks, issues, dependencies and decisions, escalating matters where required.
  • Coordinate project meetings, workshops and stakeholder communications, including agendas, minutes and action tracking.
  • Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors and senior leaders.
  • Support broader testing activities, including performance, accessibility, privacy, penetration and load testing.
  • Contribute to Agile and hybrid delivery practices across the Indigo Program.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience coordinating ICT projects or programs, ideally within a government or complex enterprise environment.
  • Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, governance, reporting, risks, issues and dependencies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work confidently across technical and business teams.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience working in Agile and/or hybrid project environments.
  • Experience supporting UAT or other ICT testing activities will be highly regarded.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Azure DevOps and electronic records management systems.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Negative Vetting Level 1 (NV1) security clearance.
