
Branch Administrator - Tasmania
An exciting opportunity exists for a highly organised and driven individual to join our team in a hands-on administrative support role.
In this position, the Branch Administrator’s primary focus is to provide administrative support to the Crown Southern regions operations across Tasmania in the areas of Service, Sales and Rentals.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide friendly, responsive support to internal and external customers, handling enquiries, calls, and shared inbox requests with clear communication and timely follow‑up.
- Process monthly invoicing and day‑to‑day accounts payable activity, ensuring financial processes are completed accurately and on time.
- Coordinate the movement, preparation, and documentation of trucks and equipment, supporting stocktake, relocations, workshop jobs, and Ready‑to‑Go unit updates.
- Accurately manage service and operational data, including job cards, quotations, costing, purchase orders, invoices, and customer information across CRM systems.
- Maintain detailed and up‑to‑date fleet, equipment, and sales records, including plant numbers, specifications, build sheets, agreements, terminations, and lease information.
- Prepare reports and administrative documentation for management, payroll, technicians, and branch teams, ensuring information is complete, consistent, and compliant with company standards.
- Source, coordinate, and support the allocation of demonstration units, second‑hand equipment, and sales file requirements as needed.
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement by collaborating with the team, participating in learning activities, and supporting ongoing enhancements to systems and processes.
Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated experience in a similar admin, coordination, or customer support role.
- A track record of hitting goals and delivering great results.
- Confident communicating with people at all levels and able to explain issues clearly.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a polished, professional style.
- A self-starter who’s flexible, motivated, and comfortable juggling a variety of tasks.
- Quick to identify problems and find practical solutions.
- Known for accuracy, attention to detail, and staying organised even when things get busy.
- Comfortable with technology, with solid Microsoft Office skills—especially Excel.
- Naturally builds positive relationships with colleagues, technicians, customers, and suppliers.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to stay calm and focused under pressure.
