This is a hybrid role out of our office in Leeds, and although our preference is for local candidates, we are open to remote applications for those who meet the requirements.
- Contract: Permanent, full-time
- Salary: £33,000 - £37,000 (depending on experience)
- Translate, edit, and proofread a range of Russian-to-English content, specialising in iGaming (sportsbook, casino, affiliate, promotional, CRM, UX, and marketing).
- Carry out senior-level review of RU-EN deliverables for accuracy, style, tone, terminology, market suitability, and client guideline adherence.
- Perform in-situ review of localised content, including websites, landing pages, apps, banners, emails and other digital assets.

- Act as a senior linguistic specialist for Russian-to-English iGaming content, supporting quality across sportsbook, casino, live casino, poker, esports, payments, bonuses, responsible gambling and affiliate content.
- Maintain strong awareness of iGaming terminology, promotional mechanics, betting concepts, casino game terminology, product features and player-facing language.
- Support the development of a strong, competent RU-EN quality team across translation specialists, translators and quality assurance executives.
- Use Linguistic Quality Assessment (LQA) findings, client feedback, audits and recurring project issues to identify individual and team development needs.
- Provide clear, constructive and practical feedback to linguists and QA colleagues, helping them improve accuracy, style, terminology use, market awareness and attention to detail.
- Create, maintain and improve RU-EN glossaries, termbases, style guides, client instructions and iGaming-specific language resources.
- Communicate clearly with Senior Managers, Project Managers, Account Managers and QA teams, ensuring visibility on priorities, risks, deadlines and solutions.
About you:
- Native-level English with advanced Russian comprehension, or native-level Russian with exceptional English writing skills suitable for senior RU-EN review and translation.

- Demonstrable expertise in iGaming, betting, casino, affiliate or closely related digital/content sectors, comparable to ISO:17100 revision standards
- Excellent understanding of Russian source-language nuance and the ability to produce natural, accurate and commercially effective English.
- Exceptional attention to detail, including terminology, formatting, numbers, offer mechanics, placeholders, tags and client instructions.
- Strong ability to identify linguistic, cultural, commercial and compliance-sensitive risks in iGaming content.
- Proven experience providing constructive feedback to linguists and supporting quality improvement.
- Experience with LQA, translation evaluation or quality management.
- Confident use of CAT tools, including memoQ, and other translation/localisation platforms.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain linguistic decisions clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
