About us

Qureight’s mission is to accelerate clinical trials and ensure breakthroughs in lung and heart disease reach patients without delay. Our AI-powered data and imaging curation platform enables the analysis of clinical imaging and other healthcare data, helping our customers bring treatments to market, faster.

We’re looking for talented people who want their work to matter. With offices in Cambridge and London, you’ll join our multidisciplinary team of clinicians, scientists, and engineers. What unites us is our open culture, continuous learning mindset, and a shared mission to help biopharma run faster, smarter trials.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and talented engineer to support the scaling of our platform that clinical trials already depend on. We build the vital infrastructure that orchestrates complex workflows across an ever-growing number of global sites and studies and the interfaces that make these workflows simple for our users. Whether it’s enabling hospitals to upload CT scans, trial sponsors wanting to report on and visualise data relating to their studies, or internal administrators managing site and user data, we provide interfaces to make these workflows possible. Built on a modern tech stack featuring React frontend applications supported by Python backend services and REST APIs, all running on AWS EKS and deployed via Terraform, what we build matters every single day to advance critical clinical research and change lives.

What you will do

  • Design, build, document and test clean, intuitive interfaces for internal and external customers in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers
  • Liaise with stakeholders to help identify and refine user and software requirements
  • Troubleshoot and optimise application performance
  • Support build and deployment pipelines and CI/CD practices
  • Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and retrospectives
  • Proficiency building frontend web applications using TypeScript and React
  • Ability to craft clean, testable, production-grade components and interfaces
  • Familiarity with frontend application frameworks & bundlers (Vite, Rollup, React Router, Next.js)
  • Proficiency with Front end testing frameworks (Vitest, Playwright preferred)
  • Experience building and testing interfaces to REST APIs
  • Experience utilising CI/CD processes (we use GitLab)
  • Experience wireframing interfaces and components
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Even better if you have

  • Familiarity with Node.js backend frameworks such as Express
  • Familiarity with containerisation principles (Docker)
  • Proficiency in Python (Django Ninja)
  • Experience with AWS cloud services
  • Experience with IaC technologies such as Terraform / OpenTofu and Helm
  • Experience working within a regulated industry (especially medtech)
  • A comprehensive benefits package that includes an annual bonus plan, private medical insurance, life insurance, and a contributory pension scheme
  • 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays and enhanced maternity leave
  • A diverse work environment that brings together experts in many fields, including software engineering, DevOps, data science, machine learning, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, and clinical operations.
