National Account Manager-Route Retail
We're looking for an experienced National Account Manager to join our high-performing Route Retail team in Auckland.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a portfolio of key national customers, including The Warehouse, where you'll develop long-term customer strategies, drive commercial performance and identify new growth opportunities.
You'll work closely with Category, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain and Customer Service to deliver exceptional customer outcomes while leading and developing two direct reports. If you're a strategic thinker who enjoys building strong partnerships, negotiating commercial outcomes and leading high-performing teams, we'd love to hear from you.
What you will do * Develop and execute strategic customer plans that drive sales, profitability and market share * Lead commercial negotiations, pricing, promotions and customer investment decisions * Identify opportunities through category insights, ranging, innovation and joint business planning * Build trusted relationships with key customer stakeholders and influence long-term growth * Partner cross-functionally to deliver best-in-class customer execution * Lead forecasting, promotional planning and business performance reviews * Coach and develop a team of Account Executives to achieve outstanding results What you will bring * Proven National Account Management experience within FMCG * Experience managing major retail, grocery, convenience or Route Retail customers * Strong commercial and financial acumen with P&L understanding * Outstanding negotiation, influencing and relationship-building skills * Ability to use customer, category and financial insights to drive growth * Previous leadership, coaching or mentoring experience * A proactive, collaborative mindset with a passion for delivering results About us
