Our Public Service Monitoring tīma is looking for 2 x Kaitohutohu | Advisor, Public Sector Monitoring. We have one permanent opportunity and one fixed term opportunity until 5 March 2027.
Te whai wāhitanga | The opportunity
As an Advisor in the Public Sector Monitoring team, you'll work at the intersection of data, performance and policy. Using evidence, insights and performance information, you'll help assess how effectively public services are delivering outcomes for Māori and provide advice that supports system improvement across government.
In this role, you’ll contribute to monitoring and reporting activities that help ensure public services deliver outcomes for Māori. You’ll assist with producing accurate analysis, supporting team initiatives, and maintaining quality standards. Collaboration is key as you’ll work with kaimahi across Te Puni Kōkiri and other agencies, helping prepare advice for senior leaders and engaging with stakeholders. This is a great opportunity to develop your policy advice skills and gain experience in a dynamic, inter-agency environment.
The likely appointment range is $76,785 - $85,316 based on skills and experience. The full grade for this role is $76,785 - $102,379 with a mid-point of $85,316.
