Sales Representative
About Asteris
Asteris is at the forefront of veterinary imaging software, trusted by small-animal, equine, and exotic practices around the world. Our advanced PACS/RIS/DICOM solutions streamline imaging workflows, support clinical decision-making, and integrate seamlessly with major practice management systems and teleconsultation partners. With a hybrid architecture built for speed, reliability, and real-time collaboration, Asteris continues to set the standard for veterinary image management and diagnostic efficiency.
We are expanding rapidly with the upcoming release of new products and services that further enhance the way veterinary teams capture, manage, and share diagnostic information. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company at the forefront of veterinary technology and help shape the future of our growth.
About the Role
The Sales Representative will help drive revenue by responding to inbound inquiries, sourcing and closing new business opportunities, nurturing existing accounts, and supporting day-to-day sales operations. You’ll work closely with clinics, surgeons, radiologists, and practice managers to understand their workflow challenges, deliver consultative product demos, and assist with proposal creation and follow-through.
This role involves a blend of proactive outreach, product demonstrations, proposal development, and account support throughout the sales cycle. You’ll engage with veterinary professionals in a variety of settings, including 3–8 industry tradeshows per year, where you’ll help showcase Asteris’ expanding suite of imaging and workflow solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Identify, qualify, and engage new opportunities across companion animal, equine, exotic, and mixed-animal practices in a variety of hospital settings. Schedule and lead discovery conversations with veterinary teams evaluating imaging and workflow solutions.
- Demos & Deals: Deliver crisp product demos (cloud PACS, 3D viewer, teleconsultation options, PIMS integrations); support proposals, contracts, and follow-ups.
- Account Care: Build trust with prospects and customers; capture needs and translate them into solutions and next steps.
- Marketing Support: Assist with content initiatives, including helping create materials at tradeshows, suggesting case highlights, and reviewing educational content for accuracy and clarity.
- Events: Attend tradeshows; help with booth prep, live demos, and lead capture.
- Reporting: Maintain effective record keeping and strong CRM hygiene within Salesforce to support clear visibility into pipeline activity.
Success looks like: consistent activity, qualified pipeline growth, demo-to-opportunity conversion, clean CRM hygiene, and closed-won contribution.
What You Bring
- Veterinary Clinical or Industry Sales Background (preferred): Experience as an RVT/N or veterinary professional with exposure to diagnostic imaging, radiology workflow, or PACS use in a clinic or hospital. Veterinary industry sales experience, especially in imaging, medical devices, software, or practice workflow solutions, is required.
- Clear, confident communicator; comfortable running demos and handling objections.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms and strong habits around accurate, consistent record keeping.
- Organized, curious, and coachable; able to work independently in a fast-moving environment.
- Willingness to travel to tradeshows/industry events 3–4 times per year.
- Education: Business/Vet/related field preferred but not required; equivalent hands-on experience welcome.
- Nice to have: Understanding of veterinary practice workflows (reception → imaging → reporting → billing), PIMS, teleradiology ecosystems, or prior SaaS sales.
