The Opportunity

Working across business and technology, you'll evaluate solution options, develop pragmatic, secure and sustainable solution architectures, and help Christchurch Airport make better technology decisions. You'll collaborate with business stakeholders, engineers and technical specialists to balance immediate delivery needs with long-term architectural outcomes.

What You’ll Do
  • Work with business stakeholders, technical specialists and technology partners to understand business needs, evaluate solution options and develop pragmatic solution architectures.
  • Develop solution architectures that align with business objectives, enterprise architecture principles and long-term technology direction.
  • Evaluate technology options and provide architectural recommendations that balance business needs, security, operational resilience and sustainability.
  • Collaborate with engineers, cybersecurity and data specialists to guide solution design and delivery.
  • Contribute to architecture standards, governance and practices that support better technology decisions across Christchurch Airport.

What You Bring
  • Around three or more years' experience in solution architecture or a comparable technical role involving architectural responsibilities.
  • Broad technical knowledge across applications, cloud, infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, data or related technology domains.
  • Experience working with business stakeholders, technical specialists and technology partners to develop or recommend technology solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse business and technology problems, evaluate solution options and make sound architectural recommendations.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and documentation skills.
  • Well organised, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives, adapt to changing priorities and deliver quality outcomes.
