About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Graduate Planning Engineer to join our Project Controls team in Sines, Portugal. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in project planning, scheduling, and reporting across large-scale construction projects. You will work closely with senior planners and project managers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules using planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
- Support progress monitoring and reporting against baseline schedules.
- Collect and analyze project data to identify delays and risks.
- Assist in preparing look-ahead programs and weekly/monthly reports.
- Liaise with project teams and subcontractors to gather progress updates.
- Contribute to resource and cost loading activities within schedules.
- Maintain accurate planning documentation and records.
- Support the team in risk analysis and mitigation planning.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- Graduation between 2025 -2026
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and attention to detail.
- Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of planning software (Primavera P6, MS Project) is an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
