Whether you’re seeking entry-level employment or a new opportunity to expand your profession, we offer training to develop the technical and managerial skills necessary to enhance your career</p> <hr> <p><strong>Key duties…</strong></p> <ul> <li>Prepare, cook, and present dishes within your section to the highest standards in quality, consistency, and presentation.&nbsp;</li> <li>Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef in delivering efficient and well-organized service during busy periods and events.&nbsp;</li> <li>Ensure full compliance with all food safety, allergy, hygiene, and health standards, including HACCP and company policies.&nbsp;</li> <li>Take ownership of mise en place and prep tasks, ensuring all elements are ready and of high quality for service.&nbsp;</li> <li>Assist in the training and mentoring of Commis Chefs and Demi Chefs de Partie, helping to develop their technical skills and kitchen knowledge.&nbsp;</li> <li>Attending regular meetings with front and back of house teams to learn about any menu or service changes and specials alongside daily tastings. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Assist in preparation of team meals as requested, considering dietary needs and variety.&nbsp;</li> <li>Demonstrate a proactive attitude towards learning, improvement, and teamwork.</li> <li>Supporting with the deep cleaning of the entire kitchen before close.&nbsp;</li> <li>Wrapping unused items and storing them in proper area at the end of service.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <hr> <p><strong>What we are looking for...</strong></p> <p><span data-olk-copy-source="MailCompose">A successful Senior Chef de Partie for Soho House will ideally have up to 2 years’ experience in a busy high-profile venue and a natural flair for first class service. You’ll be reliable, friendly and happy to be a key part of the team that strives for success. </span><strong><span data-olk-copy-source="MailCompose">&nbsp;</span></strong></p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in similar capacity</li> <li>Passion for food, attention to detail, and a strong desire to learn and grow.&nbsp;</li> <li>Understanding of basic food safety and hygiene practices.&nbsp;</li> <li>Good communication and teamwork skills.&nbsp;</li> <li>Positive, proactive, and respectful attitude in a busy kitchen environment.&nbsp;</li> <li>Culinary qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 1 or 2) is a plus but not essential.&nbsp;</li> <li>Must be able to demonstrate competency as outlined in the training schedule and Club School</li> <li>Must be able to work flexible shifts and schedules, including weekends and holidays as needed</li> <li>Ability to take direction, work in a team environment and autonomously</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p>The salary range for this role if filled within the UK is listed below.
