About the role

We’re looking for a confident and capable Client Service Coordinator to join our team.  This is a varied, hands-on role supporting our Specialist Advisory Team.  You’ll work closely with a small team, but the role will suit someone who is confident working independently, thinks on their feet, and enjoys figuring things out without needing constant direction.

There will be regular client contact over the phone, so you’ll need to be confident, professional and approachable, while following through on queries and making sure nothing slips through the cracks.  We’re looking for someone who takes pride in getting the details right and who understands the importance of accuracy, responsiveness and client service.

About the Accounting team

BlueRock Accounting is our original and largest team here at BlueRock. We are at the centre of our thriving entrepreneurial community and work closely with business owners to deliver advisory solutions and innovative tax accounting.

We embrace all things innovation and automation so that you can focus on solving problems for our awesome clients rather than moving figures around a spreadsheet!

What you'll be doing

  • Client service – end-to-end management of the client engagement. Drafting client proposals and making sure everything is covered off in the onboarding process; being a key point of contact for client queries and follow ups; offboarding clients with care – all in a professional and timely way
  • Director support – supporting four directors, including diary support, arranging travel and accommodation, meeting preparation, and refining presentation slides
  • Corporate Services – be the go-to for all Corporate Services/ASIC requirements and queries. From annual reviews and entity incorporations, right through to complex company changes and share transfers
  • Team support – assisting the Specialist Advisory Team by sending client packs, managing lodgements, assisting with billing and reporting, and general administration and coordination as needed
  • Accuracy and detail – preparing, checking and maintaining documents and records with a strong focus on quality and consistency, and making sure work is followed through to completion

What we’re looking for

  • Experience: Previous administration experience within an accounting environment, including experience with Corporate Services/ASIC
  • Detail focused: A strong eye for detail and a genuine commitment to doing things properly
  • Initiative: Someone who can think for themselves, work things out, and take ownership of their work
  • Client confidence: Comfortable speaking with clients on the phone and building professional relationships
  • Team fit: A reliable, adaptable team player who works well in a small team environment with plenty of autonomy
  • Systems savvy: Confident using Microsoft Office and business systems, with a willingness to learn new platforms

Our people love to work for us, here’s why!

  • Officially B-Corp Certified, a Certified Great Place to Work 2025 and 2023 Best Workplaces winner!
  • Competitive salary, free weekly lunches, awesome social events (including a social club – winery tours to museum tours), flexible working arrangements, and amazing headquarters in the CBD.
  • Receive mentoring and coaching from industry leaders and plenty of opportunities for growth and promotion.
  • Learning and development including internal and external training programs to build your career skills.
  • An inclusive and diverse workplace culture centred on health, wellbeing and fun.
  • The ability to salary sacrifice for their very own BlueRock shares
  • Gym membership after one year of tenure and mobile phone allowance after 6 months!
  • We have our very own BlueRock public holidays to give our people the day off, on us!
