
Warehouse Operative
Ready to roll up your sleeves and be part of a fast-paced, hands-on team? Burch Recruitment is looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join a thriving operation in East Kilbride, Glasgow.
YouKey Responsibilities Will Include:
- Loading and unloading deliveries with care
- Checking items for damage or missing parts
- Moving stock to storage or dispatch areas
- Picking and scanning orders using hand-held scanners
- Keeping the warehouse clean and organised
- Following health & safety and manual handling procedures
- Supporting efficient daily operations
What We’re Looking For:
- Great teamwork and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Flexible and organised approach
- Forklift licence (FLT) is a bonus
Details Of The Role:
- Job Type: Permanen
- Schedule: Shifts allocated in line with operational demand, with overtime and weekend availability as required (PM shift work is required)
- Location: In person – East Kilbride, Glasgow
- Benefits: Company pension, free on-site parking
Important Information:
This is a physically demanding role. Candidates will be required to lift, move, and handle heavy and bulky parcels on a daily basis and should be comfortable carrying out manual handling duties throughout their shift.
Please Note: Pay will be issued two weeks after the work has been completed. Payments will then continue weekly, maintaining a two-week delay between work completed and payment received.
