Nous recherchons un(e) analyst(e) fiscal senior pour soutenir la fonction fiscale du siège social basé au Canada avec des filiales dans le monde entier. Nous recherchons une personne détenant une expérience pratique des obligations fiscales des sociétés et qui est un joueur d'équipe qui contribue à l'amélioration des performances de l'équipe fiscale. Relevant du directeur fiscal, vous aurez la responsabilité d'assister à l'évolution continue de la structure internationale de l'entreprise et de veiller à la conformité avec toutes les exigences fiscales directes et indirectes de plusieurs pays.

À quoi ressemblera votre journée :

  • Développer et mettre en œuvre une planification fiscale stratégique pour le groupe d'entreprises
  • Faciliter et gérer la préparation et la révision de tous les aspects de la conformité fiscale directe et indirecte, en garantissant le dépôt précis et en temps voulu de tous les formulaires fiscaux
  • Trouver et mettre en œuvre des opportunités d'amélioration des processus dans les procédures fiscales de l'entreprise
  • Préparer des éléments de la déclaration de revenus de l'entreprise et d'autres documents fiscaux
  • Planifier et développer le calendrier global de déclaration et coordonner le calendrier et les entrées avec l'équipe fiscale
  • Maintenir des procédures de contrôle efficaces sur tous les aspects du processus fiscal
  • Faciliter les audits fiscaux : préparer des réponses, créer des calendriers, etc.
  • Surveiller les développements législatifs et réglementaires en matière de droit fiscal, communiquer les effets de ces développements à la direction et à l'équipe fiscale et créer des stratégies pour tirer parti des changements de la législation fiscale
  • Fournir un soutien pour divers audits internes et des projets spéciaux liés à la fiscalité

Pour en connaitre plus sur vous :

  • Connaissances approfondies en matière de fiscalité des sociétés, y compris la fiscalité internationale
  • Solides compétences en comptabilité, en analyse et en recherche
  • Souci du détail
  • Excellentes compétences en communication écrite et orale
  • Solide connaissance du code fiscal, de la conformité et des procédures pour les sociétés
  • Familiarité avec les exigences de déclaration locales fédérales et provinciales canadiennes
  • Une solide expérience avec diverses opérations fiscales et la capacité à stimuler les améliorations de processus
  • Forte capacité à utiliser les meilleures pratiques en matière de gestion de projet et de comptabilité pour organiser et hiérarchiser les tâches et celles des autres membres de l'équipe fiscale
  • Capacité à travailler de manière autonome ainsi qu'à collaborer efficacement avec les parties prenantes et à communiquer les avantages des initiatives fiscales
  • Solides compétences organisationnelles et interpersonnelles.
  • Nous recherchons un candidat avec 2+ années d'expérience pertinente
  • Maîtrise des logiciels / outils suivants : Word, Outlook, Excel, Microsoft D365

Your team’s dynamic:

We are looking for a Senior Tax Analyst to support the tax function at our head office based in Canada with subsidiaries worldwide. We are looking for someone with hands-on experience of corporate tax obligations who is a team player who contributes to improving the performance of the tax team. Reporting to the Tax Director, you will be responsible for assisting with the ongoing evolution of the company's international structure and ensuring compliance with all direct and indirect tax requirements in multiple countries.

What your day will look like:

  • Developing and implementing a strategic tax planning for the corporate group
  • Facilitating and managing the preparation and review of all direct and indirect tax compliance, ensuring the accurate and timely filing of all tax forms
  • Finding and implementing opportunities for process improvement in company tax procedures
  • Preparing components of the company's income tax return and other tax documents
  • Planning for and develop overall return calendar and coordinate timing and inputs with tax team
  • Maintaining effective control procedures over all aspects of the tax process
  • Facilitating income tax audits: preparing responses, creating schedules, etc.
  • Monitoring legislative and regulatory tax law developments, communicate the effects of these developments to management and the tax team and create strategies to capitalize on changes to taxation legislation
  • Providing support with various internal audits and special tax related projects

More about you:

  • Extensive corporate tax knowledge, including international taxation
  • Strong accounting, analytical, and research skills
  • Detailed oriented
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of tax code, compliance and procedures for corporations
  • Familiarity with Canadian federal and provincial local reporting requirements
  • Strong experience with a variety of tax operations and ability to drive process improvements
  • Strong ability to utilize project management and accounting best practices to organize and prioritize tasks and the tasks of other tax team members
  • Ability to work well independently as well as the ability to work well with stakeholders and communicate the benefits of tax initiatives
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • We are looking for a candidate with 2+ years of related experience
  • Proficient with the following software/tools: Word, Outlook, Excel, Microsoft D365

  • Current CPA license and an MTax/In-Depth designation (or under completion)
