Finance Manager

We are looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Finance Manager to independently manage the company’s day-to-day financial operations. This person will be the central point of coordination for payments, reimbursements, expense records, vendors, financial documentation, and the external Chartered Accountant (CA).

The role is suited to someone who combines strong financial discipline with an operational mindset and can establish reliable, timely, and transparent finance processes.

Payments and Banking

• Process vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and other company expenses accurately and on time.
• Maintain payment schedules and ensure that all payments have the required documentation and approvals.
• Track bank transactions and support regular bank reconciliations.
• Monitor upcoming financial obligations and help maintain adequate cash-flow visibility.

Accounting and Expense Management

• Record and categorize expenses accurately.
• Maintain organized records of invoices, bills, receipts, reimbursements, and payment confirmations.
• Track accounts payable and follow up on outstanding documentation.
• Prepare periodic expense summaries and management reports.
• Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.

Vendor Coordination

• Serve as the primary finance contact for vendors.
• Coordinate vendor onboarding and maintain complete vendor documentation.
• Resolve invoice, payment, and reconciliation queries.
• Maintain an accurate tracker of vendor contracts, invoices, dues, and payment status.

CA and Compliance Coordination

• Coordinate with the external CA and provide accurate and timely financial information.
• Maintain documentation required for accounting, audits, tax filings, and statutory compliance.
• Support GST, TDS, and other applicable regulatory processes in coordination with the CA.
• Track compliance deadlines and ensure that required information is shared on time.

Reporting and Financial Controls

• Maintain clear records of company expenses, liabilities, and cash flow.
• Prepare regular dashboards or reports for leadership.
• Establish and improve internal processes for approvals, documentation, payments, and reimbursements.
• Identify discrepancies, delays, or financial risks and escalate them promptly.
• Ensure that financial information is handled confidentially and securely.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
• Approximately 10 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or financial operations.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping, expense management, accounts payable, reconciliations, and financial documentation.
• Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and general statutory compliance requirements.
• Experience coordinating with external accountants, auditors, or Chartered Accountants.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Familiarity with accounting and expense-management software; experience with tools such as Tally, Zoho Books, or similar platforms is preferred.
