Senior Vice President, Product AI Platform & Strategy

Freshworks is looking for an experienced product leader to join as a Senior Vice President, Product – AI Platform & Strategy. In this executive leadership role, you will be responsible for defining and driving the overall artificial intelligence platform strategy across the Freshworks portfolio. You will build and scale the foundation that powers next-generation intelligent workflows, predictive capabilities, and generative AI experiences for enterprise and mid-market customers globally. Working closely with engineering, data science, research, and cross-functional product teams, your work will directly influence our long-term competitive positioning and corporate growth.
 

What You'll Do

• Define, communicate, and execute a multi-year AI platform vision and strategy that positions the company as an enterprise leader in AI innovation.
• Build and scale a high-performing product organization, hiring, developing, and sponsoring top product talent to achieve management depth and business continuity.
• Partner with engineering, research, and data science teams to deliver a scalable, enterprise-grade AI foundation, including core models, data infrastructure, and shared AI services.
• Establish product governance, responsible AI guidelines, data privacy compliance, and performance metrics across all AI platform capabilities.
• Drive platform adoption across product lines by creating seamless developer and product integration experiences for internal product teams.
• Monitor market trends, emerging technology developments, and competitive landscapes to continually update business strategies and make clear decisions on trade-offs.
• Represent the company’s AI product direction and thought leadership with customer executives, strategic partners, industry analysts, and external stakeholders.
• Lead a team of VP’s who manage disparate parts of the Product and AI ecosystem today to evolve into this forward looking combined AI platform vision. 
• Foster a culture of execution and accountability, establishing operating rhythms, QBRs, and scorecard mechanisms to ensure predictable delivery against long-term goals.

• 15+ years of progressive product management experience, with a proven track record leading platform, enterprise software, or AI/ML product organizations at scale.
• 7+ years of experience in and around the Employee Experience (EX) market (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, No/Low-code). 
• Deep domain expertise in AI/ML platforms, enterprise data strategy, large language models (LLMs), or platform-as-a-service architecture.
• Proven executive maturity and sound judgment in navigating complex, high-stakes trade-offs across competing technology and business priorities.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate vision in a compelling, inspirational way while connecting departmental execution directly to corporate strategic priorities.
• Track record of building a performance-centric, inclusive culture that draws on diverse perspectives to solve complex organizational and technical problems.
• Strong track record of partner engagement, customer empathy, and driving cross-functional alignment with engineering, sales, and executive leadership.

Nice to Have

• Experience leading AI transformation or cross-product platform consolidation initiatives within a multi-product SaaS company.
• Technical background in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.

The annual base salary range for this position is $375,000 - $425,000 Base Salary. This role is also eligible for variable compensation. 

Compensation is based on a variety of factors including but not limited to location, experience, job-related skills, and level. Bonus/equity may be available.
