You will also lead the triage of support tickets across the corporate applications portfolio, ensuring issues are assessed, prioritized, assigned, and progressed to resolution based on business impact, urgency, and technical complexity.
Corporate Application Product Ownership
· Act as a Product Owner for assigned corporate applications, representing business and operational needs throughout the application lifecycle.
· Partner with stakeholders to understand business challenges, define application priorities, and translate needs into requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and actionable backlog items.
· Develop and maintain application roadmaps and prioritized backlogs aligned with business objectives, platform strategy, compliance requirements, and available capacity.
· Facilitate prioritization discussions and recommend sequencing based on business value, risk, urgency, dependencies, and implementation effort.
· Coordinate with business leaders, architects, engineers, developers, vendors, and project teams to move approved initiatives from discovery through delivery.
· Communicate application priorities, release plans, risks, dependencies, and outcomes to business and technology stakeholders.
· Monitor the effectiveness and adoption of delivered capabilities and use stakeholder feedback to guide continuous improvement.
Enterprise Application Administration and Support
· Provide senior technical leadership for the administration, configuration, optimization, and lifecycle management of enterprise business applications.
· Lead the triage of support tickets across corporate applications, ensuring incidents and requests are appropriately categorized, prioritized, assigned, and escalated.
· Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve complex application, configuration, workflow, data, access, and integration issues.
· Review ticket trends, recurring incidents, root causes, aging items, and service risks to identify opportunities for permanent fixes and platform improvements.
· Serve as a senior technical escalation point for complex application and integration issues.
· Perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions that improve reliability, supportability, security, and user experience.
· Establish and promote consistent support, escalation, documentation, and knowledge-management practices across the corporate applications portfolio.
· Evaluate platform performance, technical debt, maintainability, scalability, and operational effectiveness.
Solution Design and Business Process Improvement
· Lead discovery and solution design workshops with stakeholders to understand requirements and evaluate technical approaches.
· Recommend scalable solutions that balance business value, security, compliance, maintainability, user experience, and long-term supportability.
· Identify opportunities to improve business processes through platform capabilities, workflow automation, reporting, integrations, and AI-enabled technologies.
· Determine whether requirements should be addressed through configuration, automation, reporting, integrations, custom development, or process changes.
· Develop technical standards, configuration guidance, process flows, knowledge articles, and engineering documentation.
· Build trusted partnerships across Finance, Human Resources, Procurement, Commercial Operations, Legal, Quality, and other functions.
Project and Release Delivery
· Serve as the technical lead for enterprise application implementations, upgrades, integrations, acquisitions, consolidations, and optimization initiatives.
· Lead technical planning, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
· Coordinate delivery activities across business stakeholders, engineers, architects, developers, quality assurance teams, security teams, integration teams, and vendors.
· Review technical designs, configurations, integrations, and implementation approaches for alignment with architecture and engineering standards.
· Manage risks, dependencies, defects, and readiness activities throughout the delivery lifecycle.
· Ensure documentation, testing, validation, deployment, and change management activities meet organizational and regulatory requirements.
Salesforce Sales Cloud Delivery
· Lead Salesforce Sales Cloud discovery with Sales, Business Development, Commercial Operations, Finance, IT, and related stakeholders.
· Translate needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, configuration designs, test scenarios, release notes, and documentation.
· Perform hands-on Salesforce administration and configuration across standard and custom objects; fields and record types; Lightning pages and Dynamic Forms; validation rules, flows, and approvals; reports and dashboards; and profiles, permission sets, roles, sharing rules, and role-based access controls.
· Support sandbox strategy, configuration migration, change sets, regression testing, deployment validation, production readiness, and post-deployment verification.
· Coordinate UAT, tester support, defect triage, retesting, business sign-off, release readiness, and stakeholder communication.
· Collaborate with developers, architects, quality assurance, security, and integration teams on Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, APIs, and integration troubleshooting.
· Support production administration, access reviews, data quality, platform governance, user adoption, and continuous improvement.
Data, Integrations, and Compliance
· Lead the design and optimization of application integrations, reporting capabilities, dashboards, and enterprise data exchanges.
· Ensure integrations maintain data integrity, reliability, security, and long-term supportability.
· Maintain technical documentation for integrations, configurations, reporting solutions, and enterprise data flows.
· Support Computer System Validation, governance, security, privacy, and audit activities where applicable.
· Ensure applications comply with organizational policies, cybersecurity standards, data governance requirements, and applicable regulations.
· Evaluate vendor roadmaps, emerging technologies, and new platform capabilities to improve business value and application sustainability.
· Mentor Business Systems Engineers and promote technical excellence, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
· A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience in Information Technology, Business Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Typically 8 to 12 years of experience implementing, configuring, integrating, administering, and optimizing enterprise business applications.
· Experience acting as a Product Owner, application owner, platform lead, or senior business systems lead for corporate applications.
· Experience managing application backlogs, prioritizing requirements, facilitating stakeholder decisions, and coordinating delivery across technical and business teams.
· Experience leading application support ticket triage, incident prioritization, escalation, root cause analysis, and coordination with internal teams and vendors.
· Demonstrated experience leading complex application implementations, integrations, upgrades, acquisitions, or optimization initiatives.
· Hands-on experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst, Administrator, Functional Consultant, Business Systems Analyst, or techno-functional lead.
· Strong Salesforce Sales Cloud experience across leads, accounts, contacts, opportunities, activities, pipeline, forecasting, reporting, dashboards, and sales processes.
· Experience configuring Salesforce objects, fields, Lightning pages, flows, approvals, security, reports, dashboards, and data quality controls.
