As Head of Warehouse Operations, you will lead our site warehousing infrastructure, drive operational excellence, and shape a high-performing supply chain culture at our Cumbernauld site!

Your responsibilities will include…
- Executive Oversight: Lead and develop the site warehousing function, managing shift leaders and multi-layered teams across wholesale, retail, and rework operations.
- Safety & Compliance: Champion a safety-first culture as a key priority across all shift operations and warehouse activities.
- Financial Control: Manage and control agreed operational budgets, driving efficiency across labour costs, facilities, and cost-per-pallet metrics.
- Supply Chain Alignment: Collaborate closely with Logistics and Production to manage site throughput capacity whilst ensuring production lines continue to run to meet volume demands.
- Customer Satisfaction: Partner with Logistics teams to maintain exceptionally high standards of service for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement & Change: Lead major site project teams, driving change agendas and leveraging CI methodologies to deliver business benefits.
- Site Leadership: Sit on the Site Leadership Team, fostering cross-functional collaboration with Commercial and Operations to unlock logistics opportunities.
What you’ll bring...
The successful candidate will have;
- Extensive experience leading large-scale warehousing and logistics operations within a complex FMCG manufacturing environment.
- Deep technical proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and automation technologies (e.g., voice picking or automated storage & retrieval).
- Proven track record of strategic financial management and controlling multi-million-pound operating budgets with full cost-centre accountability.
- Strong leadership capability in organisational change, CI culture, and building resilient, high-performing teams through coaching.
- Superior stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, capable of communicating effectively from the shop floor to executive board level.
And it would also be great if you can demonstrate:
- Strong IT agility and a track record of rapidly adapting to new enterprise software and operational tech.
- Exceptional agility to think on your feet, solving complex supply chain problems dynamically under pressure.
