Who We Are
At Ultimate Performance (U.P.), we’re on a mission to transform lives through exceptional personal training. As a global leader in results-focused fitness, we have 21 private personal training facilities across four continents, with locations including London, Los Angeles, Dubai, Singapore, Sydney, the Netherlands and Washington DC.
We’re now looking for an HR Administrator to join our Manchester Support Office and play an important role in supporting our growing global workforce.
The Role
As an HR Administrator, you’ll be part of a close-knit HR Administration team, working alongside the wider HR function to deliver a high-quality, responsive service to our employees and managers.
You’ll support the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding new starters through to promotions, transfers, absence management and offboarding. You’ll also be responsible for keeping our HR systems and employee records accurate, ensuring processes run smoothly and employees receive the support they need.
No two days will be exactly the same. You’ll work closely with colleagues across HR, Payroll, IT, Operations and management, while also having the opportunity to contribute to HR projects and improvements.
What You’ll Do
- Coordinating onboarding, transfers, promotions and offboarding across the business.
- Preparing contracts, letters and other employment documentation accurately and on time.
- Maintaining accurate employee records across PeopleHR and other HR systems.
- Supporting holiday, TOIL, absence and employment record administration.
- Monitoring probation periods and preparing relevant documentation.
- Maintaining right-to-work and other employment compliance records.
- Acting as a first point of contact for routine employee HR queries.
- Providing clear and professional guidance on established HR processes and policies.
- Working with Payroll, IT, Operations and managers to ensure employee changes are communicated and actioned effectively.
- Supporting absence, attendance and lateness processes, escalating matters where appropriate.
- Supporting HR audits, projects and process improvements.
- Helping us continually improve the efficiency of our HR processes and the employee experience.
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who is organised, proactive and enjoys getting things right.
You’ll ideally have:
- 1–3 years’ experience in HR administration or a similar People/HR role.
- A good understanding of core employee lifecycle processes.
- Excellent organisation skills and strong attention to detail.
- Confident written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- The professionalism and discretion required to handle confidential and sensitive information.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
It would be great if you also have
- CIPD Level 3 or are currently working towards a CIPD qualification.
- An understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Experience supporting employees across multiple jurisdictions.
- Experience using HR systems such as PeopleHR, DocuSign or Halo.
What we’re looking for
Skills & Experience
- Maths and English to GCSE level.
- Current, or recent experience working within a Client Support setting.
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
- High level of computer literacy, including all key Microsoft Office packages.
- Knowledge and understanding of various Client Support techniques.
Why Join Us
You’ll join a growing, ambitious global business where the people function plays a key role in supporting our continued success.
You’ll work as part of a collaborative HR team, gain exposure to an international workforce and have the opportunity to develop your HR knowledge and experience across a broad range of people processes.
If you’re an organised HR professional who takes pride in delivering a great service, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to be part of a truly global business, we’d love to hear from you.
