About the role

We are looking for a Production Assistant to support our Technical Production Managers across dialogue, speech technology and dataset projects, from casting and recording through to final delivery.

You will work closely with the detail of each project you support, helping to ensure preparation is complete, documentation and assets are organised, schedules and tracking information are kept up to date, and potential issues are highlighted to the Production Manager.

You will also help represent the business professionally when working with talent, agents, directors, studio partners and clients.

What you'll do

  • Assist Production Managers with speech technology and dataset projects, including participant coordination, recording preparation, project tracking and delivery administration
  • Prepare and organise recording assets such as scripts, session documents and audio or video reference files
  • Support the tracking of QA, editing and final deliverables against client requirements
  • Support initial casting outreach to actors and agents
  • Assist the Casting team with self-tapes and editing casting clips
  • Schedule actors for auditions and recording sessions when projects are taking place in our studios
  • Liaise with agents and help establish and maintain strong working relationships
  • Send clear, comprehensive communications to talent and directors in preparation for auditions and sessions
  • Prepare project documentation for talent, studio partners and directors, including persona briefs, content briefs and scripts
  • Assist with updating studio calendars with the relevant information needed for recording sessions, where applicable
  • Coordinate legal paperwork, ensuring NDAs and talent agreements are signed and filed correctly
  • Build Purchase Orders for talent, directors and other service providers
  • Prepare Travel Packs for rehearsals, crowd sessions and Performance Capture sessions
  • Assist with script preparation and tracking, as required
  • Support Production Managers with meeting and greeting clients and assisting them throughout the day, as required
  • Help keep schedules and tracking documents accurate and up to date throughout recordings
  • Keep project folders organised and up to date with relevant information

What we're looking for

  • Interest and/or experience in video games, particularly story and character, and/or casting or the performance arts, including theatre, TV or cinema
  • Interest in speech technology, voice and audio production, data collection, datasets or other technology-led media projects
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present information clearly
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently when needed while also being a collaborative team player
  • Previous experience in a similar production support or coordination role
  • Confident and experienced using Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with audio recording or editing technology such as AVID Pro Tools, Adobe Audition, iZotope or similar software
  • Experience handling and organising large numbers of audio and/or video files, particularly across multiple projects or languages

Working with us

You will be expected to follow company Security, Confidentiality, Health and Safety, IT and HR procedures, and to work in line with the organisation's standards, values and ethical business practices.
