Who we are
About Stripe
Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies - from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups - use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career.
About the team
The Recruiting team builds Stripe’s culture by connecting exceptional talent with our highest-impact business needs. We bring Stripe’s operating principles to life through thoughtful, consistent hiring practices, a high-quality candidate experience, and data-informed partnership with the business.
What you’ll do
Stripe is looking for a strategic, consultative, independent and creative recruiter to support hiring for our our Risk, Partnerships and Operations functions in the APAC region. You will partner with senior global leaders who shape Stripe’s financial strategy, external narrative, long-term growth, and company-wide decision-making.
This is a high-impact portfolio supporting varied talent markets, senior stakeholders, and roles where the quality of each hire can influence how Stripe operates and grows. You will own full-cycle recruiting, advise leaders on hiring strategy and market conditions, and build trusted relationships with candidates and hiring teams.
Responsibilities
- Partner with senior leaders to understand business priorities, define hiring plans, and develop recruiting strategies that support headcount goals.
- Own the full recruiting lifecycle, from intake and sourcing through offer acceptance and onboarding handoff.
- Proactively advise and educate hiring teams on APAC talent-market conditions, candidate availability, competitive dynamics, and hiring approaches for specialized and senior roles.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies that build broad, qualified candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
- Build strong candidate relationships and deliver a thoughtful, timely candidate experience throughout the process.
- Use recruiting data to track progress, identify risks and opportunities, and provide clear updates to business leaders.
- Improve recruiting processes where needed, testing practical changes that help hiring teams move with clarity and consistency.
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams, including Comp, People Operations, Benefits, Onboarding, and Legal, to support a smooth offer and onboarding experience.
- Uphold structured, competency-based hiring practices and help hiring teams assess candidates against the requirements of each role.
Who you are
We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.
Minimum requirements
- 10+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, including in-house recruiting experience.
- Experience partnering with senior leaders on hiring strategy, talent-market insights, and complex searches.
- Ability to seamlessly context switch to support a breadth of roles across a wide variety of functions and hiring managers.
- Ability to build trust with senior stakeholders and influence decisions through sound judgment, data, and market knowledge.
- Experience developing AI first sourcing and talent mapping strategies and engaging candidates for specialized or senior roles.
- Ability to use recruiting data to identify trends, communicate progress, and improve recruiting outcomes.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple searches and shifting priorities.
- A collaborative approach and comfort working across functions to solve problems and improve the hiring experience.
- Curiosity about emerging AI tools and a practical approach to testing and adopting new ways of working.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience recruiting for complex business functions or other specialized functions.
- Experience supporting senior-level hiring or roles with complex stakeholder groups.
- Experience working across multiple geographies or advising on location strategy.
- Familiarity with recruiting systems and sourcing tools, including applicant tracking systems, candidate relationship management tools, and LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Deep knowledge of the APAC region (preferably including experience working across Southeast Asia and/or India)
