Figma is looking for a Mid-Market Account Executive to join our dynamic team of creatives, engineers, marketers and brilliant business folks. You aren’t the typical sales leader, and we aren’t the typical design tool company. At Figma we think outside the box, lift constraints that block our imagination everyday and we encourage you to do the same. With this role you’ll get in at the ground floor in a fast growing sales org. You’ll consult with our existing customer base and potential customers in driving meaningful relationships that add value to the customer experience and revenue to our bottom line.
You will be responsible for targeting, building and nurturing positive relationships with key decision-makers and assisting them through their Figma evaluation and buying process of all products. This is an opportunity to accelerate your career, learn from leading sellers in the industry and be part of a founding team to shape Figma’s future in Singapore . You won’t be alone! Figma has an incredible team and you’ll work closely with other groups including Support, Design, Engineering,Product Marketing, Customer Success, and Community. You will report directly to our Manager, Commercial Sales, APAC.
This is a full-time position based in our Singapore office.
What you'll do at Figma:
- Create and manage a pipeline of Commercial accounts from inbound and outbound activity to consistently meet or surpass sales targets
- Apply effective discovery and value-selling techniques to build and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers in both new and existing customers (100-2000 FTE’s)
- Align with executives on business challenges and gain sponsorship for enterprise wide deployments for a suite of products, identifying where Figma’s roadmap and innovations fit in the long term
- Manage a book of business by tiering accounts, initiating outbound prospecting strategies to build and manage a pipeline of opportunities, conduct thorough analysis to create account plans that outline company priorities and initiatives, multi-thread at senior level
- Co-create with cross-functional partners to expertly position Figma, drive deals forward and ensure customer success
- Leverage opportunities to advance executive level relationships through in-person meetings and networking opportunities
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- 2+ years experience closing sales for a software or SaaS business with a book of customers in the SMB or Commercial space (<2000 FTEs)
- Demonstrated experience successfully managing high volume sales cycles (1-3 months)
- Mandarin speaking fluency as the role potentially covers accounts in Greater China
- Demonstrate using a sales methodology (preferably MEDDICC or Command of the Message) to run effective discovery and/or in creating customer value
While it’s not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:
- Experience selling solutions to technical audiences at executive level (i.e. Engineering, Product, Design teams)
- Certified in deal qualification and prospect discovery
At Figma, one of our values is Grow as you go. We believe in hiring smart, curious people who are excited to learn and develop their skills. If you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with the points outlined in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyways. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
