About the team 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Buying Assistant (Buyers Admin Assistant) on our Heritage Brands department working with key strategic brands for the business such as Barbour and PVH across all gender Womens, Mens and Kids. You’ll report into the Buyer for the area, so lots of opportunity to further develop your skills and progress in role.   

You will joining a collaborative and fast-paced buying team where ideas are valued and initiative is encouraged.  The team is small, so good communication skills are imperative as you support the team in bringing exciting products to market, managing supplier information, and ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.   You'll gain insight into category management, supplier relationships and pricing while developing the organisational skills, commercial knowledge and experience, all of which are essential for a successful career in buying.  

About the role 

Day to day you will understand the category critical path and branded supply chain, whilst undertaking administrative support for the buying function. You will be responsible for sample management and maintaining the sample library. 

The skills and behaviours key to being a successful BA candidate here at The Very Group are; commercially aware, able to build relationships and methodical, passionate, strong communication skills, can demonstrate initiative, enjoys problem solving and interpreting data and you must have excellent attention to detail.
