Product Lead
Moving home in the UK is notoriously slow and stressful. Homey exists to change that — we're an established, fast-growing business using technology to streamline property transactions, and our platform is at the centre of it.
We're looking for a Product Lead to own the roadmap, prioritisation and the definition of what we build and why — leading our Product Owners, Product Support and (via our Platform Lead) the engineering and QA team. This is a genuine ownership role, not a caretaker one. You'll report directly into Homey's senior leadership and be judged on one number: monthly active users against target.
What you'll do
Own the quarterly roadmap end to end, and make sure every feature has written requirements before a single line of code is written.
Use monthly usage and adoption data to decide what gets built next, and kill features that don't earn their place.
Lead and develop our Product Owners so requirements are clear enough that engineers rarely need a clarification meeting.
Work hand-in-glove with our Platform Lead to keep the roadmap realistic against delivery capacity.
Talk to real users, regularly and directly — you represent them, you don't guess on their behalf.
What excellence looks like
The platform team rarely has to ask what you meant.
Users are spoken to directly and often, not represented by assumption.
MAU growth is a predictable output of a roadmap that works, not a surprise.
A track record owning product for a B2B or B2C SaaS platform, ideally through a high-growth stage.
Comfort leading a distributed team (part of Homey's engineering and QA function is based in Colombo, Sri Lanka) and closing the gap that distance creates with clear written requirements.
Strong commercial instincts — you can connect a feature decision to revenue, retention or margin.
A bias for shipping and measuring over planning in the abstract.
Nice to have
Experience in property, legal-tech or another regulated/transactional industry.
Competitive salary (£95,000–£130,000 DOE) plus equity — we want you to own a piece of what you build.
Real autonomy over the roadmap and direct access to Homey's senior leadership.
Work at an established company with the soul of a startup, backed by a live, revenue-generating platform.
The chance to lead product for a business genuinely changing a slow, broken industry.
Hybrid working from our London hub, with regular collaboration with our Colombo team.
