
Logistics Coordinator (Work From Home)
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this fully remote role, you will be instrumental in managing and optimizing our supply chain operations. You will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining efficient communication with suppliers, carriers, and internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of inbound and outbound logistics, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
- Liaise with carriers and freight forwarders to negotiate rates, schedule shipments, and track deliveries in real-time.
- Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, customs forms, and invoices.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock counts, working closely with warehouse teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments (e.g., sales, procurement, customer service) to ensure smooth operational flow.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize transit times.
- Resolve any logistical issues or delays promptly and professionally, finding effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities and generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Utilize logistics software and systems to manage shipments, track inventory, and analyze data.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator, Supply Chain Specialist, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of logistics processes, supply chain management, and transportation methods.
- Proficiency in using logistics software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
- Familiarity with international shipping regulations and customs procedures is advantageous.
