What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be joining the Europe Accounting team. This team acts as the engine room for our financial integrity, bridging the gap between local operations and global reporting standards during an exciting period of integration.
Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:
Drive Reporting Excellence: Lead month-end and quarter-end close activities, ensuring all financial reporting deliverables are accurate, timely, and aligned with US headquarters requirements.
Operational Oversight: Oversee the review of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis to maintain the highest standards of financial accuracy.
Process Transformation: Identify process gaps and implement scalable controls to strengthen financial governance and shorten close cycles across Europe.
Strategic Partnering: Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in Operations and regional teams to streamline accounting workflows and improve data quality.
Audit & Compliance: Coordinate internal and external audit requests while maintaining comprehensive documentation for key accounting processes and SOPs.
What You’ll Need to Thrive
Our ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in some of these areas and curiosity to grow in others:
Professional Qualification: ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent accountancy qualification with at least 4 years of post-qualified experience.
Technical Depth: Significant post-qualification experience within a complex, fast-paced financial environment, ideally with a focus on group reporting.
System Proficiency: Strong understanding of NetSuite (or equivalent ERP systems) and financial reporting tools.
Stakeholder Influence: Proven ability to partner with cross-functional teams and influence senior leaders across different regions and functions.
Adaptability: A proactive mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive outcomes in an evolving global business environment.
