TTM Planner
Nau mai, haere mai ki a Fulton Hogan | Join us at Fulton Hogan
We’re looking for a TTM Planner to join our team in Auckland. You’ll lead the design and coordination of Traffic Management Plans, manage the approval process end to end, and provide technical input across projects and tenders, helping us deliver safer roads and better project outcomes.
Mō te tūranga | About the role
If you know TTM design and like getting into the detail without getting buried in red tape, this could be your kind of role. As our TTM Planner, you’ll lead the design and assessment of Traffic Management Plans, working with internal teams, clients, RCA’s and subcontractors to deliver practical, risk-based plans that keep projects safe, on time and to a high standard. It’s a technical role with real impact, where you’ll manage the full TMP process from request through to approval, apply sound judgement to risk and design decisions, and help lift capability across the wider business.
Ngā kawenga matua | Key responsibilities
Develop and submit Traffic Management Plans in line with CoPTTM, NZGTTM and Fulton Hogan requirements.
Manage the end-to-end TMP process, from request and design through to approval for single and multiple activities.
Identify, assess and document risk within TTM design, using feedback and shared learnings to keep improving outcomes.
Produce plans and supporting documents using Rapid TCP and/or AutoCAD, and work with stakeholders to keep approvals moving.
Provide technical input to teams, projects and tenders, while helping build stronger TTM planning capability across the business.
Kei te kimi mātou i tētahi e whai ana i ēnei pūkenga | We’re looking for someone with
At least 5 years’ experience in Traffic Management Design.
Experience in the civil or construction industry, with a strong understanding of quality and compliance documentation.
Strong technical capability in TMP design, ideally with Rapid TCP and/or AutoCAD.
A current Class 1 Driver’s Licence, plus a proactive, accountable and safety-first approach.
Strong communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills, with the confidence to work autonomously and the attitude to be a genuine team player.
He pai te mahi, he pai ngā painga | Good work, good benefits
At Fulton Hogan, we genuinely care about the wellbeing of our people and giving them the tools and opportunities they need to succeed and grow with us. You’ll have access to:
Medical insurance and Life insurance after the eligibility period.

Parental leave top‑up payment with additional return‑to‑work support.
Ongoing training and development, with clear career growth and progression opportunities.
Great discounts at a wide range of retailers.
Ko wai mātou | About us
At Fulton Hogan, Good Work is about more than what we deliver. It’s how we show up, how we treat each other, and how we keep moving forward together. You’ll be part of a flat, friendly team that backs good ideas, values low ego, and takes the work seriously, not ourselves, while helping deliver the roads, traffic management and civil infrastructure our communities rely on every day. In safety-critical environments, we switch on when it counts and deliver to a high standard, knowing the work we do helps keep people moving, supports local businesses, and connects communities safely.
Me pēhea te tono | How to apply
If you’re an experienced TTM Planner who knows how to balance technical accuracy, practical delivery and safe outcomes, we’d like to hear from you. Apply now and bring your skills to a team that backs good people to do Good Work.
