How You'll Shape What's Possible:
You are an experienced Principal Consultant with a strong background in Information Management, including Data Warehousing, Data Management, Business Intelligence, and Analytics. You leverage your leadership skills and expertise to oversee project delivery, provide expert advice, and grow revenue from both new and existing clients. As a versatile professional with a proven track record in various industries, you act as a subject matter expert and mentor, guiding others while driving complex technical projects to successful outcomes.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Design and develop high-quality business solutions that create value and improve performance. 
  • Provide technical mentorship and guidance to Altis consultants. 
  • Lead quality reviews for your own and other projects within Altis. 
  • Collaborate with the sales team to clarify client needs and devise suitable solutions. 
  • Communicate complex technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. 
  • Contribute to the design and development of solutions while considering security and data governance. 
  • Advise on data modelling and structuring to meet information needs. 
  • Stay updated on new technologies to enhance business processes and methodologies. 
  • Lead large and complex projects, ensuring effective project control and risk management. 
  • Participate in business development and lead generation activities.

The Knowledge You Bring:

  • Project experience through all phases of the project life cycle from strategy and advisory, scoping and planning, requirements, design, development, testing, and deployment 
  • Experience providing strategic advice to organisations to help maximise the value of their data and information. 
  • Proven experience within Cloud Platforms and solution architecture. Experience with one or more Cloud platforms including; AWS, Azure, Databricks, or Snowflake. 
  • Experience with Data Modelling Techniques (Dimensional modelling, Data Vault and etc) 
  • Hands-on experience in Data Engineering and building complex large-scale data solutions. 
  • Solid understanding of DevOps/ CICD 
  • Experience with Managing/Leading teams 
  • Experience identifying and creating awareness of opportunities for upselling or generating leads. 
  • Experience managing complex projects, deadlines, and capabilities.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills. 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects and mentor junior team members.
  • Tertiary qualification in an IT-related field or relevant work experience. 
  • 10+ years of broad IT experience, particularly in Data & Analytics. 
  • 10+ years of experience delivering data and analytics projects. 
  • 10+ years of consulting experience in a client-facing environment.
