
Colour Consultant
Role Summary:
This is a part-time role working every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month.
Pay: $32.00 per hour
As a Colour Consultant, you will assist customers in choosing the right colours to achieve their desired look, using photos, swatches, or samples they provide. Your role requires a strong understanding of colour theory, trends, psychology, and design principles to guide customers with confidence and expertise. In addition to providing colour advice, you will help maintain a clean and organized sales area, and assist customers in finding products. You will also engage with potential customers to promote the Valspar brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers, offering expert advice interior design and colour selection.
- Discuss and promote paint products to enhance customer experience.
- Provide consultations based on customer photos and preferences.
- Work collaboratively with store representatives to support sales initiatives.
- Ensure all promotions and displays meet the company's brand standards.
Skills & Requirements:
- Exceptional understanding of interior design and colour matching
- You don’t need a formal qualification in colour or interior design — but if you don’t have one, relevant industry experience is a must.
- Friendly and approachable communication and sales skills.
- Great at building rapport with customers.
