As Northland's leading garden retailer and with continued, outstanding growth, we're are looking for a practical, energetic Garden Team Member to join our well respected Garden Department.

In this role, customer service is key. You'll spend much of your day supporting customers to choose the right plants, products and solutions, whether its green life, fertilisers, pest control or hardware. You'll be the person they turn to for advice, inspiration and practical help.

At the same time, this is a very hands-on, physical role. You'll be completing daily maintenance tasks around the garden department, regularly lifting, moving and replenishing heavy product. You must enjoy staying active and be comfortable with a fast pace.

Whether your gardening experience comes from your own backyard or formal training, you'll enjoy sharing your knowledge while supporting our customers and team.

What you'll bring:

* Proven customer service experience

* Strong knowledge of plants, garden hardware and dry garden products

* Enthusiasm and great team spirit

* Confident communication skills

* Excellent time management

* Ability to stay alert, adapt quickly, and thrive when busy

* Previous experience in a garden centre is an advantage
