Job Description
Role OverviewYou will play a key leadership role in driving the growth of the Wealth Banking business, leading a team of Relationship Managers to deliver strong sales performance while providing high‑quality, compliant financial advisory services. This role combines commercial leadership, people development, and governance excellence in a dynamic retail banking environment.
Key Responsibilities- Drive the development and growth of the Wealth Banking portfolio by leading and coaching a team of Relationship Managers to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Lead, motivate and develop the team to deliver strong client engagement, effective financial solutions, and sustainable revenue growth.
- Oversee service quality and operational effectiveness to ensure a consistent and positive client experience.
- Provide hands‑on leadership through coaching, performance management, and talent development.
- Ensure strict adherence to the Bank’s internal policies, business processes, and regulatory requirements, including compliance with the FAA and related regulations.
- Promote a strong risk, compliance, and governance culture within the team.
- Degree from a recognised institution in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the Banking or Financial Services industry, with a strong background in sales of financial and investment products.
- Proven experience in leading and managing a sales team within a banking environment.
- Strong understanding of banking regulations, compliance, and risk management requirements.
- Demonstrated leadership, people management, and stakeholder management skills.
- Results‑driven, client‑focused, and able to balance commercial outcomes with governance expectations.
Champion responsible selling practices, ensuring all financial advice and product recommendations are aligned to customers’ needs, risk profiles, and suitability requirements, while meeting regulatory and ethical standards.
