We are looking for a Team Leader Compliance to join our Regulatory Services Team. This is a unique leadership opportunity for a compliance professional who enjoys working across a diverse regulatory portfolio including Environmental Health, Resource Management Act (RMA) Compliance, and Building Compliance. You’ll be part of the Regulatory Leadership Team and oversee a dedicated team, manage key regulatory contracts, support enforcement and monitoring functions, and help ensure our communities remain safe, healthy, and compliant.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Lead, mentor and support compliance staff to achieve team objectives
- Foster a positive, collaborative and high-performing team culture
- Assist with compliance schedule management, provide advice and undertaking enforcement activities
- Maintain accurate records and an active compliance monitoring schedule

We are looking for someone with:
Essential:
- Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, standards and compliance processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and time management capabilities
- Ability to influence outcomes while maintaining positive relationships
Desirable:
- Experience working within a local government compliance environment
- Experience interpreting legislation and applying regulatory requirements
