About the Role
Looking for your next big opportunity? We’ve got an exciting Faultman role just for you! In this position, you will be responsible for assessing and carrying out all assigned fault service requests, ensuring Dispatch is kept informed of status and progress., making a real impact.
About the Role
• Responding to, assessing, and attending to all assigned service requests within service levels.
• Performing high voltage switching and isolation of plant.
• Carrying out repair and maintenance work to Omexom and customer standards.
• Identifying and reporting any unscheduled work to enable recording of network equipment that is not safe or functional.
• Ensuring that vehicles and allocated equipment are well presented and maintained.
• Working to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) and Omexom operational and quality processes.
• Completing all required paperwork and records within specified timeframes.
Qualifications and Skills
• NZQA or equivalent recognised qualification as a distribution Line Mechanic level 4
• EWRB registration as a Distribution Line Mechanic
• Three years’ experience in all aspects of electricity distribution.
• Class 1 NZ driver’s license or equivalent required, class 2 preferred
• Desirable to have recently held Faultman network warrants and Transpower switching.
