As Bandero continues to grow its national footprint, New Jersey represents a major opportunity for visibility, influence, and long-term sales growth. We are seeking a driven Market Manager who is excited to help build the market, secure influential placements, and become an important part of the brandâs continued expansion.
We are seeking an experienced, connected, and results-driven New Jersey Market Manager to lead Bandero Premium Tequilaâs growth throughout the state.
This is an opportunity to join a growing brand at a pivotal stage and play a direct role in shaping Banderoâs success in one of the countryâs most important and competitive wine and spirits markets.
The New Jersey Market Manager will be responsible for increasing sales, supporting distribution teams, securing new on-premise and off-premise placements, and building lasting relationships with key accounts and industry leaders.
The ideal candidate has strong roots in the New Jersey hospitality and beverage community, existing relationships with buyers and decision-makers, and the entrepreneurial drive to build a premium spirits brand in a competitive market.
- Work closely with Banderoâs distributor partner to execute sales programs and achieve market goals.
- Build strong relationships with distributor leadership, managers, and sales representatives.
- Conduct regular distributor meetings, sales presentations, ride-alongs, and account visits.
- Motivate and support distributor teams to increase placements, reorders, and overall sales.
- Monitor distributor inventory, depletions, execution, and performance against established goals.
- Ensure distributor activities remain aligned with Banderoâs sales strategy and premium brand positioning.
- Leverage existing relationships and build new connections to grow Banderoâs presence throughout New Jersey.
- Secure new on-premise and off-premise placements.
- Develop relationships with key buyers, beverage directors, restaurant groups, retailers, bars, hotels, lounges, nightclubs, and other influential accounts.
- Manage existing accounts and identify opportunities to increase reorders, menu placements, displays, and promotional support.
- Create targeted sales plans for priority accounts and high-value opportunities.
- Maintain a consistent market presence through regular account visits and follow-up.
- Serve as a knowledgeable and enthusiastic ambassador for Bandero Premium Tequila.
- Host tastings, staff trainings, buyer presentations, events, and activations that reflect Banderoâs premium image.
- Educate distributor teams, retail staff, bartenders, servers, and consumers on the Bandero portfolio and brand story.
- Identify local partnerships, sponsorships, and events that can increase visibility and consumer engagement.
- Ensure Bandero is represented professionally and consistently across all customer and consumer interactions.
- Identify opportunities for expansion throughout New Jersey.
- Monitor competitive brands, pricing, promotions, account activity, and market trends.
- Provide insight into the New Jersey market landscape, culture, and key industry players.
- Help develop localized sales, marketing, promotional, and activation strategies.
- Collaborate with company leadership on programs designed to increase distribution and brand awareness.
- Track and report on placements, reorders, depletions, sales targets, account activity, and promotional effectiveness.
- Maintain an organized pipeline of prospective and active accounts.
- Provide regular market updates, sales reports, competitive insights, and opportunity assessments.
- Manage market expenses responsibly and submit timely documentation.
- Work toward clearly defined sales and distribution goals.
- Proven experience in sales, brand building, market management, or account management in the New Jersey market.
- Existing relationships with New Jersey buyers, distributors, retailers, restaurants, bars, hotels, nightlife venues, or hospitality groups are strongly preferred.
- An established book of business is a significant plus.
- Demonstrated success opening new accounts and growing existing business.
- Experience managing, supporting, and motivating distributor partners.
- Strong understanding of the New Jersey wine and spirits market, including its culture, key accounts, and industry landscape.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, relationship-management, and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated and able to manage a large territory independently.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Passionate about premium spirits and building a growing brand from the ground up.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional nights and weekends, for events, tastings, and activations.
- Ability and willingness to travel throughout New Jersey as required.
- Valid driverâs license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
- Must meet all legal requirements for representing and promoting an alcoholic beverage brand.
- $85,000 annual base salary.
