ABOUT THE TEAM

As a Product Manager at Unzer, your mission is to deliver product value. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organization, analyze customer feedback, and serve as the subject-matter expert in your domain. Your focus will be to translate insights into actionable specifications and guide product development within your team to ensure the on-time delivery of real, measurable impact that supports company goals.    You will lead platform-wide initiatives in our Foundations group. The team owns the core components of UnzerOne – a modern platform enabling seamless unified commerce solutions for our merchants and fully automated end-to-end (onboarding to settlement) flows to empower our internal stakeholders. 
What your work will look like:
  • Merchant journey: Establish a deep understanding of our merchants’ journey throughout the Unzer platform, from onboarding to settlement, opportunities and pain-points.

  • Manage and Deliver the Product Roadmap: Maintain and own the product roadmap for your area of responsibility, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and on-time delivery of product enhancements and features. 

  • Own Product Initiatives: Plan and execute product initiatives end to end, demonstrating full product ownership and autonomy. 
  • KPI Definition & Performance Tracking: Define and track KPIs to measure product success and drive continuous improvement. 
  • Solve Complex Challenges: Proactively resolve complex challenges across varied product contexts by in-depth analysis from technical and business perspectives and focusing teams on delivering solutions. 
    • Manage Communication and Collaboration: Enable collaboration within your team and communication with stakeholders outside your team, ensuring a shared understanding and effective product delivery. 


What you need to be successful in this role:
  • 3+ years’ product management experience in Tech, ideally in Payments on billing and settlement solutions - a plus if gained within a financially regulated company. 
  • You are skilled at planning, driving, and monitoring product development to meet objectives in high quality and on time. 
  • Your decisions are informed by data, and you are experienced with investigating and resolving a broad range of complex issues in the technology space. 
  • You facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing within cross-functional teams, engaging stakeholders and ensuring user or customer needs are met. 
  • You communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, comfortably explaining complex concepts, gaining insights and supporting decision-making. 
  • You bring creativity and an improvement mindset, proposing new solutions, encouraging team enhancements, and implementing changes. 
  • You demonstrate leadership and adaptability by embracing change and actively promoting new technologies and the use of AI in daily work.
