
Hospitality Assistant - Bank
We are seeking a warm, friendly, and motivated Hospitality Assistant to join our friendly team based at Cedars Retirement Village in Chorleywood. This is a Bank position ideally to work Sundays and additional hours to cover sickness and holiday.
You will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring our residents, visitors, and customers have memorable experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver food, beverage, and retail services to RVG standards, maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment.
- Provide residents and visitors with a warm and professional welcome, anticipating and meeting their hospitality needs.
- Handle enquiries, issues, and complaints courteously and efficiently, escalating when necessary.
- Work effectively as part of the village team to deliver high-quality service and build strong relationships with residents.
- Contribute ideas for improving menus, services, and operational processes.
- Support the achievement of food and beverage revenue targets using established systems and processes.
- Maintain and update personal skills, accreditations, and knowledge of industry best practices.

Experience and Qualifications:
- Job-related experience desirable but not essential
- Up to 1 year of general work experience delivering to standard
