We're looking for a motivated Relationship Analyst to join our Whangārei team and play a key role in supporting rural clients to achieve their goals.

About the role | Mō te tūranga

This is more than a support position. You'll become a trusted partner to Rural Managers and clients alike, helping navigate lending applications, supporting business growth opportunities, and building strong relationships across the rural community.

From attending farm visits to coordinating lending submissions and enhancing the client experience, you'll gain valuable exposure to rural banking while developing your commercial and relationship management skills.

What you'll be doing

  • Supporting Rural Managers with end-to-end lending applications and client servicing

  • Building strong relationships with farming clients and stakeholders

  • Coordinating documentation, financial information, valuations and lending requirements

  • Managing client enquiries, onboarding activities, and service requests

  • Supporting AML/KYC and client due diligence processes

  • Assisting with local marketing initiatives, events, and branch operations

  • Championing digital banking solutions and helping clients get the most from Rabobank's services

  • Collaborating with Rural Managers, Credit Analysts and wider teams to deliver outstanding outcomes

About you | Ō pūkenga

We're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a genuine interest in New Zealand's rural sector.

You will bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Agriculture, Business, Finance or a related field

  • 1-3 years' experience in banking, finance, agriculture, customer service or a similar environment

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail

  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

  • A collaborative approach and commitment to outstanding customer service

  • An understanding of rural industries and lending practices will be highly regarded
