
Customer Service Representative - 28th of September 2026

We are hiring Customer Service Representatives to join our Wellington team.
About The Role
As a Customer Service Representative, you will represent Rockgas in supporting New Zealanders with inquiries about our client’s services. With access to comprehensive knowledge content, extensive training, and leadership support, you will handle a variety of tasks such as new account creation, processing service orders, payment collections, emergency responses, and handling disconnections. You will work in a dynamic team environment, focusing on delivering quality outcomes through phone, and email interactions.
Operating Hours
We offer permanent fixed-term opportunities with flexible hours to accommodate your commitments. Our operating hours are:
- Monday to Friday: 7:00 am - 7:00 pm
- Saturday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (NZST & NZDT)
You will work on a rotating roster. This role is due to commence 28th of September 2026.
Skills & experience
- Excellent customer service skills – self driven to provide meaningful customer connections through every contact
- Strong attention to detail and quality focused
- Active listening & demonstrating the appropriate empathy towards customers
- A team player focus, working collaboratively to exceed expectations
- Clear communication skills to customers and stakeholders
- Punctual and reliable
- Experience adhering to KPI's
- Intermediate computer skills, ability to navigate multiple screens and a typing speed of 30WPM
- Previous financial experience would be highly regarded
