We are seeking an experienced Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The Fabricator is responsible for reading and understanding schematics and blueprints and fabricating metal parts and structures per the customer request, working with mostly stainless steel. As a Fabricator you are a key point in assisting the team, learning, and developing skills to proceed towards becoming fully licensed. We are looking to add someone to our team who is eager to learn, detail-orientated and a team player. The Fabricator promotes a positive company image through safety, quality, consistency, and professionalism.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Layout (fitting)
- Use of brake, shear and saw
- Use of iron worker
- Welding
- Polishing/finishing welds
- Assist with various shop projects, including shop maintenance
- Fabrication of various jobs/projects
- Able to read blueprints/drawing/sketches
- Read and understand schematics and blueprints
- Conduct quality control checks
- Work closely with designers & engineers & product development
- Accurate and timely completion of all daily paperwork
- Completion of High School or equivalent
- Metal Fabricator/Fitter 437A or equivalent
- Previous 1-4 years of fabrication experience
- Stainless Steel TIG welding experience as a must
- CWB tickets considered a strong asset
- You have a get it done attitude and are skilled at removing barriers
- You have the ability to think beyond the needs of the customer to point out errors and potential issues
- You are able to adjust quickly to changing priorities and conditions, cope effectively with complexity and change, quickly understand and absorb new information and respond appropriately

Hourly Rate For The Role: $22.00 - $27.00
The salary range provided in this posting is intended as a general guideline. Final compensation will be determined based on a number of factors, including a candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications, and geographic location, as well as internal equity and budget considerations.
