We are seeking a customer-focused and strategic Senior Product Manager to define, validate, and spearhead our product strategy in the rapidly growing new homes market. In this pivotal role, you will get out from behind your desk to meet with our B2B and B2C customers, from property developers to home buyers, to deeply understand the challenges and opportunities in their journey. You will own and deliver a product roadmap that transforms how new homes are discovered and sold on Trade Me, directly influencing our commercial success. We are looking for a creative and commercially astute leader to help us redefine how Kiwis find their dream new home. Experience in the new homes or property development industry would be a significant advantage

Here is what you can expect from this role:

• Identify and execute high-value initiatives to drive customer value and commercial growth across our Property portfolio.
  
• Get out from behind your desk to meet directly with B2B and B2C customers to conduct strong discovery practices.
  
• Develop, maintain, and execute a 3-month to 3-year product vision and strategic roadmap that teams buy into.
  
• Balance the optimization of mature products with the innovation of new business lines and monetization strategies.
  
• Partner closely with cross-functional Engineering, Sales, and Marketing teams to build digital products customers love.
  
• Ruthlessly prioritize initiatives using outcome-focused metrics, transparent success criteria, and agile experimentation.

What you will bring to our team:

• 5+ years of digital product management experience, leading product strategies with proven customer and commercial success.
  
• Must be willing to get out and meet customers.
  
• Experience engaging with both B2C and B2B customers.
  
• Ideally have experience within the property development / new homes industry.
  
• Could be a mix of sales/marketing experience and product experience (product experience is a must though).
  
• Proven experience owning an entire business portfolio, managing P&L targets, pricing projects, monetization, and complex GTM planning.
  
• Strategic, commercially astute, and analytical mindset with strong resilience when navigating ambiguity.
  
• Exceptional communication and influencing skills to navigate executive conversations and sell the 'why'.
  
• Proactive mindset toward exploring and integrating AI tools and automation to optimize decision-making and delivery.
