We are currently looking for an experienced Commercial
Manager to join our Southern team based in Nelson We
also welcome applications from less experienced candidates as would be willing
to seek the right person for our team.
What you’ll be doing:
Responsible for
developing, maintaining, and growing a customer portfolio with sustainable
long-term relationships which meet UDC’s objectives for revenue and credit
quality.
You will operate
within a defined territory and will be responsible for identifying new
business opportunities from both new and existing customers
Identify and
secure new business opportunities with the objective of growing the
profitability of the portfolio
You’ll be a great fit if:
- You understand the Upper South Island area
- You act quickly,
even in the face of ambiguity and uncertainty - You’re able to
develop strong relationships with clients - You have top notch
solution selling skills - You proactively
seek to enhance relationships with clients - You resolve
customer problems or concerns, keeping customer confidence at the centre
of everything you do - You have strong
communication and collaboration skills - You can
confidently identify potential prospects - You’re competent
in analysis of basic financial accounts, budget and cash-flow requirements
(preferred but not a must have as long as you are eager to learn)
