Electrical Assembly Technician
Are you passionate about hands-on technical work and eager to be part of a high-performing team? Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Assembly Technician to support the assembly, wiring, and testing of advanced technology.
In this role, you will play a key part in assembling Avapac equipment, contributing to operational excellence and delivering exceptional outcomes for customers.
Responsibilities
- Assemble a range of sub-assemblies, including mechanical components, through to complete machine builds, applying sound assembly principles
- Support pre-commissioning activities as required
- Assist with the disassembly and preparation of Avapac machines and equipment for shipping
- Follow and help refine procedures, including updating drawings to ensure compliance with electrical designs and performance specifications
- Support the development and maintenance of assembly and safety procedures
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to enhancing productivity and efficiency
- Provide regular feedback on product or process issues
- Maintain a strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer excellence
About You
- Hold current electrical registration with a valid practising licence
- Able to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams and follow structured build processes
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and electrical test equipment
- Strong team player with the ability to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- High attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Customer-focused, with a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Self-motivated, with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- Sound understanding of compliance requirements and health & safety practices
