About You
You'll be a confident clinical leader who enjoys developing people and creating environments where both residents and staff can thrive.
Ideally, you'll bring:
- Current New Zealand Registered Nurse APC
- Previous leadership experience within New Zealand aged care
- Strong knowledge of aged care legislation, quality standards and audit processes
- Experience with interRAI and clinical governance
- The ability to coach, mentor and inspire clinical teams
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Commercial awareness and an understanding of operational performance
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

We're partnering with a respected aged care provider to recruit a Clinical Manager for a well-established service offering retirement village living, rest home, hospital, respite and dementia care. With a stable leadership team and a strong reputation for quality care, this is an opportunity to step into a role where you'll be supported to lead, influence and make a genuine impact.
This is a role for someone who enjoys balancing clinical excellence with strategic thinking. You'll mentor and develop your clinical team while also contributing to the broader success of the service through quality improvement, compliance, workforce planning and operational leadership.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll provide clinical leadership across the service, ensuring residents receive safe, high-quality care while supporting and developing a capable, engaged team.
Working closely with the Facility Manager and wider leadership team, you'll also contribute to the overall performance of the home, helping drive quality outcomes and continuous improvement.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing clinical leadership, coaching and support to Registered Nurses and care teams
- Overseeing clinical governance, care planning and resident outcomes
- Leading quality improvement initiatives and maintaining compliance with Health NZ standards
- Preparing for and supporting audits while ensuring robust clinical systems are maintained
- Monitoring clinical indicators and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Contributing to staffing, resource planning and budget management
- Building positive relationships with residents, families and multidisciplinary teams
- Fostering a collaborative, supportive and accountable team culture
