Purchasing Officer
- Managing purchasing and procurement requests from teams across multiple districts
- Coordinating logistics and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services
- Processing and maintaining accurate purchasing data and records
- Building strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Providing exceptional service and support over the phone and via email
- Identifying practical and creative solutions to procurement challenges
- Supporting national operations from our Christchurch office
What we're looking for:
- Proven purchasing or procurement experience
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and confidence dealing with suppliers and internal teams
- Ability to follow processes and instructions while working independently
- Great organisational and time management skills
- A proactive mindset with the initiative to solve problems and improve processes
- Experience with CAPEX purchasing or projects would be a bonus
